Your lack of seamanship is showing. You seem to have no knowledge of
the Traditional "Rum Ration" supplied the sailors on Sailing Ships for
years. Better men than you & I have been drinking and sailing for many,
many years. A sign of good seamanship!

Yeah! Joseph Hazelwood and the Exxon Valdez, for one example!
He wasn't drinking.... he was passed out drunk, off watch,..... his sober
first mate had the watch and the helm.
