Round it off, taper the trailing edge.
Joe likes to "shave" with his rudder... :-)
CM
Either that or his tub spends a lot of time going backwards.
It's not a bad tub Ozz. Here in this picture you can see the kick up
rudder before the aluminum frame parted.

I will post a repaired picture soon. With the rounded leading edge and
tapered trailing edge :0).
I have the material, hopefully tonight I will have the time.

Great toy Joe.....you might even learn to sail :-)
I hope so,I've had the boat 8 yrs now...but ...just received my brand
new set of ("used once") bumble bee Hood sails. They are black and
yellow horz. striped with an albatross symbol on them. Not sure what
boat they were made for but they fit the librisa like a zoot suit.
Totally cool sails...can't wait!!!!!
Loose footed main, and matching RF 100% jib... and HUGE big ass
spinnaker. Have a Harken roller furler for the boat. I'm going to go
ahead and pull the boat out of the water and fix her nice up for the
summer squalls.
I got a feeling it's going to be a wild & wet summer.
Did you notice the vintage 15 ft immitation birch bark canoe on the
dock?
It's chopped sprayed fiberglass. Sears & Robuck. Great for windless
days.
Might go island hopping in Galveston bay this weekend with RedCloud
and bring the canoe along to surf the ship wakes next to RedFish
Island. Surfers have ridden miles near the trinity bay cut on the ship
wakes.
