I fill my truck up once per week...I fill my boat up once per month, for
about 7 months. Boating is one of our favorite family activities, and I
don't let the prices get me down. For guys like you Tom, that boat every
day...perhaps for a living, it's a much bigger hit. I think about it more
filling up my truck than I do filling up my boat. I use my truck for a
living.

Like you, Mike, my family boating won't be curtailed by gas prices, yet. On
the other hand, my costs of going to work each day, I have a long commute,
bridge toll, parking expenses, are hurting my bottom line. Since GWB took
office (just a timeline, not blaming anyone) my gas prices have gone from
1.25/g to 3.25/g, bridge has increased from 2 to 5 and parking has increased
from free to 60/month. We're one of the lucky families; we've been able to
survive this constantly improving economy with little effect on lifestyle,
just less money saved or invested for the long run.
