It only makes sense to add more oil, or use the same amount of better
oil, for instance a good synthetic like amsoil for 2-strokes (it's
designed to provide a higher ratio mix - like 100:1)

While changing the fuel/oil ratio to a less fuel/more oil mix would
normally create some problems like plug fouling and "deposits" caused
by unburned oil, with a greater percentage of ethanol in the fuel, the
fuel mix will burn significantly hotter which should balance out the
problem of unburned oil. The extra oil will help slow the burn a little
and keep the temp down a little.

It might also help to use a higher octane fuel since it is designed to
burn more evenly and a little slower than lower octane fuel, which
might help prevent piston holes or cylinder scoring caused by excessive
spot heat.
