Default STP

Used it to coat engine parts before reassembly after overhaul. Idea was to
prevent any scuffing opon initial engine start up. These were pretty hi
tech close tolerance race engines (for their day) and the stuff never seemed
to harm them. Have no idea if it helped but "feel" as though it probably
did.

We did change the oil after the engine's initial test runs of a few minutes
and would not have considered using it for racing.

Jim, I remember when that kind of stuff became a rage in the 60's. and
everybody seemed the need to try it, even though they would probably
never see any results of it makeing your car get better fuel milage, or
engines lasting any longer.

I put it in my car a couple times, because it was recomended by Andy's
commercials. I never knew if it did any good or not.

I used it some in my first car, a second wore out hand-me-down 63
Impala rust bucket

Which changed its oil on its own. whether on the street, or through the
exhaust....
