Default SOT kayaking in Alaska?

Missed your post earlier.

You CAN use an SOT in Alaska. Invest in a $120 wetsuit and paddle anything!
(Hell, it won't be more than the cost of one tank of gas) Or stick to the
non-glacier-fed rivers and skip the wetsuit, just use pile; the water isn't
any colder than the ocean off a Maine beach.
Go he www.fairbankspaddlers.org
or he www.kck.org
to hook up with local paddlers who will steer you to some great kayaking.

I'll be leaving So. Calif. towards the end of May and should arrive
in Alaska sometime around the end of June. After spending about
a month exploring the 49th US state, I'll head back home through
B.C., Washington, Oregon and No. Calif. Are there any waters in
Alaska that warm up enough during the month of July for SOT kayaking?
I hate to think my boat will spend the first two months of my trip
high and dry. Since I'm generally a warm weather kayaker, I don't
have either wet suit or dry suit. My main kayaking interests are
quiet water shoreline exploration, fishing and photography. TIA
for any input offered.
