I am really tired of them. In addition to banning ps, we need to ban cell
phones for certain individuals while driving. If you have a child in the
car, the driver should be banned from using the cell phone. A woman just ran
over a crossing guard (fortunately didn't die) while chatting on her phone.
She had three kids in the car, including an infant.

Wouldn't it be safer and more prudent if one was constantly reminded
through the handling of the vehicle that it weighed 5000 lbs, especially
when it comes to stopping, cornering and for economy when accelerating?

My solution to this whole mess is to outlaw power steering. Then these
"soccer moms" in those 5000 lb SUV's wouldn't have two free hands (one for
the cell phone, the other to eat the burrito) while they are driving at
30+mph through a school zone loaded with kids.

That or bomb the oil fields.
