JLROGERS dumber than Toast?
I just bought a new 2006 Acura MDX Touring model. I bought it BECAUSE
they
were going to make radical changes in 2007.
You bought a dinosaur that Honda has been racing to replace for two
years! You DID NOT RESEARCH the car. The 2007 MDX addresses all of the
flaws in the old model. The worst flaw and the reason I chose a Subaru
Tribeca over the MDX is that the MDX loses ABS breaking when traction
control engages. The systems won't operate at the same time, causing a
pause between them. The Pilot suffers from the same problem.
The new MDX will be a great car, probably trumping the Tribeca after
correcting that flaw and adding even better handling and a LOT of
power. There is no 1st generation cars anymore. The new MDX will be
very refined and bug free, just like my Tribeca or the new Infinity
RX330.
The MDX is the ONLY SUV under 5000 lbs that can come close to matching
the Tribeca's crash rating., but the new MDX will have the most
car-like handling ever. Almost all current MDX's are leasing now
because everyone wants the new model when it comes along! It will be a
huge jump over the current model in every way. It will also slam resale
on the old models of course.
The two best SUV crossovers are the Infinity RX330 and the Subaru
Tribeca. Both have state of the art AWD systems, while the old MDX does
not.
Great move, JlRogers! You suuuure did your homework! I always what kind
of sod buys a car just as the improved model is being released. Now I
know!
