Those who ignore history are bound to repeat it.
Never buy a new, from the ground up model, unless you are a gambler and risk
taker.
I just bought a new 2006 Acura MDX Touring model. I bought it BECAUSE they
were going to make radical changes in 2007. The 2006 has been refined and
improved through 4 model years and is near perfect, as vehicles go.
17 MPG in town, 34 MPG hwy at 50 MPH, 23 MPG at 75 MPH, 23.3 in my normal
mix of driving (first 2,300 miles). Has a great navigation system, backup
camera and sensors, Bluetooth, heated leather seats, AWD, OnStar, XM
satellite radio, DVD player & screens, dashboard tire pressure warning
lights, and other features too numerous too mention. Everything is
controlled by over 500 voice commands. Eg: Just say, "temperature 68" and
the car replies, "temperature 68 degrees," and then adjusts the temperature
as requested. It even came with software and cables to read the on board
diagnostics (OBD-II) and reset the check engine light, if you want to do all
the maintenance yourself.
Jealous? Now that's funny!!!!!!
