Gilles,
I, too, have a Bruce Roberts Mauritius 43. The steel hull and deck
were constructed at Kettle Creek in Ontario. I really love my boat,
thus the name s/v Truelove. Mine is a raised poop; is yours as well?
I sure would like to see pictures of your boat. Unfortunately I do
not have any of Truelove that are viewable online.
You mention a windvane. What type do you have? I understood that
with hydraulic steering you could only use the Sayes Rig.
What kind of windlass do you have, and have you been pleased with it?
An AIS receiver -- I am so jealous!!! Please tell me the brand and
model and where you bought it and what you had to pay for it. :-)
What brand and model of autopilot do you have and have you been
pleased with it?
Trailer?!? Surely you can't be serious. It must be a huge semi
trailer.
Sorry to ask so many questions. It is just rare to see another
Mauritius 43 for sale, especially one so well equipped. If you need
anyone to sing the praises of this boat design, just refer them to me.
I have been very pleased with Truelove.
