heard that it vibrates a lot on idle
Doing a little preliminary research and opinion gathering is all well
and good but I wouldn't base a final decision on anything less than
seeing and hearing one run with my own two eyes and ears. And
preferably more than one. Vibration at idle can be caused by a number
of things. A new motor demonstrated by a dealer would probably
eliminate the possiblility that it'd be caused by something simple
like fouled plugs or fonky gas. So that's where I'd go first.
that it is rather hard to start on cold.
I have no clue about the validity of this but, most "cold natured"
engines just take a litte practice at getting them going. Once you've
got the hang of it, no problem. I'd be a lot more concerned if it
didn't start "hot" ;-)
Let us know what you find out.
