Why are the bunks tipped in such an odd way? Hmmm....


I had one of those 'Made in Taiwan' trailers for my CL14 sailboat.
Those Mickey Mouse bunks do pivot when loading and unloading...but the
brackets were so weak that they bent under the weight of my 240 lb
sailboat. I just attached 2" x 4"s on edge directly to the frame.
It was easy to tip the entire trailer to winch the boat on...even up off
my front lawn. If I had kept that daysailer, I was planning to buy a
better 900 lb capacity galvanized trailer at about $900.00.
