I would take the reviews on paddling.net with a grain of salt. Most of them
are written by people that own the boats that they are reviewing and tend to
be overwhelingly favorable.

Yes, I know what you mean, no one wants to spend $900 on a kayak and
then say it sucks, but if you read what they are saying and not what
they are rating it as, you can get an idea of what's what. I've seen
reviews where people say brand X doesn't track well or the seat sucks
and then rate it a 9 or 10!
