Default SouthCoast23 Meets Hobie16

A respectable SC23 hull has been languishing on the front drive on its
trailer for months.
It needed a mast.
I made a wood mast. But I grunged up the sail groove in it: first too
narrow in parts, then later, too wide in parts.
Shucks!

My sons came to the rescue with a give away project Hobie 16
on a trailer from eBay. And the mast has the length, and the breadth,
and the anodized aluminum groove.

So why am I bleating still?

How do I attach the shrouds?
Looks like a jib shroud at 3/4 height and no other visible fixings
for shrouds.
What am I missing??

Brian Whatcott Altus OK
(That Hobie sure looked well-engineered!)

This is for a 14, but 16 was rigged much the same.
See fig.17 pg 10 -- 3 shrouds connect to mast.
Chain plates and adjusters were located on the trampoline frame on each
side of the frame. Jib shroud came down to adjuster and was "Y" connected
to the top of each hull nose. See front page for diagram of "Y".

Been years ago and too old to step the mast today.
