JohnH,
The flash will be a Christmas present, I was wondering if I needed the
SB-600 or SB-800, it seems this guy recommends the 600 for most people.
As far at the 18-200mm Zoom Lens with Nikon's Extra Low Dispersion (ED)
glass, Silent Wave Motor technology (SWM), and Enhanced Vibration... All I
have to say is:
YOU GD *******.
She will have to get by with Nikon 55-200mm f4-5.6G ED AF-S DX Nikkor Zoom
Lens (Black) and the Nikon 55-200mm zoom and a tripod.
JohnH, I really think someone is going to have to try hard to out *******
you.

I just want to tell everyone who published their damn pictures
"overthere",
that you forced me to buy my wife a Nikon D50. I purchased the package
with
2 telephoto lens. We spent Sunday taking a walk along the river taking
pictures of our dogs, mother nature and the kids playing in the river.
You *******s cost me over $1000, forced me to get out and walk over a
mile,
and now my wife is busy looking for new accessories she needs for her new
camera.
If any of you SOB's make recommendations for things we absolutely need for
our new hobby, you will be promoted to GD SOB's.
Don't even let her hear about the SB800
(http://www.kenrockwell.com/nikon/sb800.htmflash) or the new 18-200mm lens
with autofocus and vibration reduction
(http://www.kenrockwell.com/nikon/18200.htm).
You *don't* absolutely need either of these. But she'll be happier if you
give them to her!
