Obviously, the controls need adjustment.
Until then, try this:
On the fly bridge throttle, bring it down to idle, then, very slightly
(without revving the engine), "pump" the throttle up and down several times.
Don't move it much, just a very slight "pump" two or three times.
See if it drops down to 600 RPM.
