Hello
I am the happy owner of a Glastron 174 Bayflite from 1978.
Last year in the end of the seson, I coult smell gasoline and the carpet was
a little wet of gasoline.
I think it may be a leak in the fuel tank ??
I just cant se how to take out the tank, which way ??
Under the dashboard I dont think the space is enough ?
Hope to have som input.
Regards from Denmark

On the Bayflite I/O, I think the tank is under the bow. The "kick
panel" at the driver's feet should come out w/ 4 or 6 screws... this
will give you an idea of the job ahead.
To get the tank out, you will likely have to remove the lounge seats...
this will certainly give you lots of room to work in the boat, too.
A plastic bow tank, like a Moeller(they sell a 19 gallon bow tank),
would be a good replacement if the aluminum cannot be repaired easily.
