Lots of minerals & forestry products. It's the manufacturing area that seems
to rely on Federal Gov't largess & support.
You have about a third of the people who just want to leave and run their
own little French country, (not join US)
another third knows the advantages of staying and blackmailing Canada for
every advantage they can squeeze out.
The rest would be good solid citizens.
