Yes, except that it been going on much longer. This link provides some

sexually abusive priest. I heard stories on the news for at least the last
10-20 years.

The priest's stories are true though, and a couple of them were at the
church I grew up attending (and the school). I was beaten often but never
sexually abused. I must've been an ugly kid.

I'm glad to heard you weren't a victim of sexual abuse. I've seen your
picture and you were good looking in that picture from your school days.
Maybe it was your strong personality that kept you from being molested.

I had a girlfriend in elementary school that went to a Catholic school and
they used a ruler on their hands. I had a bad taste for Catholicism from a
very early age. Although it is true that they have gotten better over the
many years.

I still can't imagine any Catholic giving money to their church. I find
people who truly are in need and help them, like the catholic charities are
supposed to do. That way I know my money wouldn't wind up paying off the
victims of the priests.

There are plenty Mother Teresa's out in the world, but most people don't
hear about them, which is the way it is supposed to be. The Bible says:
"Beware of practicing your righteousness before men to be noticed by them;
otherwise you have no reward with your Father who is in heaven."
