I did not criticize your advice what so ever. I had no idea if your
advice was correct or not. My point is that one should not follow Usenet
advice blindly.

Since you are knowledgeable, I am sure you have read your share of poor
advice, dangerous advice and costly advice given freely in rec.boats and
other NG.
