Years ago, when the shoulder stuff really started, I fell a total
distance of two feet when I lost my balance while sitting on a work
stool working on the brakes of my truck.

Two feet and it totally ruined my right shoulder - dislocated, torn
this and that, etc.

You can get seriously hurt doing anything at any time.

Oh yeah. I know. Two years ago, my son needed to be wrestled with. I set my
sights on his belly, preparing to administer The Dreaded Claw. He turned
suddenly and I ended up smacking into his hip bone with what was basically a
loose fist. Broke two bones. He thought it was funny until he realized he
had to wash dishes for 6 weeks.
