week or so ago that just amazed me.

I take Remicade for my RA every six weeks @ $11,000 a pop - that's
$99,000 per year for very effective treatment for RA.

In Canada, it's $2,450 a pop.

We used to have a seven year patent law for drugs...until that smarmy
%$^#%$ former prime minister of ours made some deal to raise it to 15
years. The trade off was supposed to be more investment in our drug
industry.
