I'm not. Sorry, that wasn't clear. The nylon double braid is the
same construction so I'll just splice it the same way.

Actually, I'll check the New England Rope sites to see if the
instructions for the nylon double braid are slightly different.

Lots of motion at my dock. I have rubber snubbers on the bow and
stern lines and shock cords on the middle of the springs. Gives me
the willies just to thing what Sta-Set dock lines would feel like
