Default Trip Report 2006: Spanish and US Virgins Pictures

Hmmm... I thought there were a couple of moorings between the pillars and
the small island. Many years ago, we parked a mono in there.. I believe it
was a 43. Depth wasn't an issue but turning area was, given the current.
Maybe I'm thinking of a different part of them.

I do remember lots of fish!

I wore a lifejacket as I wanted to explore some distance.
I wanted to explore to see if a boat could make it
through on the east side of the pillars. It was pretty
shallow for quite a distance. I would not chance it
except on a catamarran.

Did you see all the fish hanging out in the pressure wave
on the leading edge of the pillars?

Last time I dove there, I got carried along one of the walls for 100 feet
or so. It was a nice ride!
