There's a LOT of big ship traffic right there. Interesting
to watch but worrisome to get in the way of.

I never realized the James was so shallow but you're right.

Look at #12245 thru 12253
Once you get west of the Hwy 684 bridge, there's relatively
little area to sail.

There's some cool places there, though. Hampton & Portsmouth
both have city docks.
