Now, *that's* a keeper.
Does Mrs. E know that you have Jessica Simpson stashed in your garage?
I'll bet she doesn't. :)
When I got the car last spring, it arrived with a trunk full of Dukes of
Hazard promotional stuff. Banners, DOH lunch boxes, model cars, bobble head
dolls, etc. It also had four large, framed display stands that contained
autographed cast pictures, TV show scripts used by Daisy, a 33-1/3 DOH album
plus copies of the original title and bill of sale. I've got most of this
stuff on the wall of the garage where the General normally resides. One of
the display stands had the recent movie cast pictures - Jessica Simpson,
Bert Reynolds, Willie Nelson. Being a family orientated display area with
young kids visiting often, I chose not to display this frame stand. A bit
too much for 4-6 year olds, I think.
Although the TV series was goofy, light entertainment, I was never a "DOH"
fan, and I didn't bother going to see the recent movie version. I just like
the car and seeing the reaction of people who recognize it and see it
sitting there for the first time. Everybody wants their picture taken
standing beside, or sitting in it.
Oh, and I have to keep a battery maintainer on it because everybody wants to
hear the horn play "Dixie".
