Bush Doctrine at Work
Good point there Bert.
Yes America and the West are the most attractive to people, firms, students,
tourists etc etc. Number one. The people who you here squacking and the loud
mouths around the world are a small (but loud) minority. Small numbers of
people in every country (including Iraq). In other words, the Majority of
the world and its population is in favor of the U.S. and its efforts
globally to reduce poverty, starvation and disease and create peace. Now
some (a minority) believe this not to be a good thing and for what ever
reason criticize the U.S. but offer no alternative or no other plan to meet
these objectives, just criticize. I find it most magnanimous of the
Americans as the U.S. taxpayers are paying for all this (and I am not
American nor do I live in the U.S.) but I appreciate what the U.S. is doing
for the world and hope they continue with their objective of making the
world better. Those who object, simply do not understand. I would like to
hear their plan to make the world a better, more peaceful, less disease,
less poverty and more comfortable place for everyone. Before you jump on me
here, dont forget to include your plan, fling all the mud you want at me,
just include YOUR plan. How would you do things differently?

I don't think Dennis really wants to be confused by the facts. Scary
to
realize how little some Americans know about what's going on in the
world. I
can understand some dentist in Florida hepped up on laughing gas, or
some
Texas icehouse refugee,
but I believe Dennis lives in a northern state close to the border. He
should know better.
We certainly are winning friends and influencing people all over the
world. Remember the novel, "The "Ugly American?" More true than ever.
If us Americans are so bad and our country sucks then, why are people
always
trying to come and live here?
