Post up some pics of the Bavaria when you get a chance. The only deals I've
seen in this end of the world are overpriced hurricane damaged "specials".

got the story on the sale and the guy who bought her.
He was apparently rolling in cash from a dot com buyout, then went
bust.
Boat was repoed and the bank just got sick of paying storage on her.


Lots of good deals out there now, this sounds like a great
one. And an opportunity for the folks who are sailing her
back for you.

I've been on a couple of Bavarias and thought they were
pretty good boats, but their reputation has certainly
suffered after the keel-falling-off incident(s).
