We have occasionally moored at Put-In-Bay for a few days. Yes, it is nice
for a few days but on a day to day routine I prefer a dock. Easier to get
to/from the boat, easier to load, especially when packing for an extended
cruise. Plus we never had a gennie on any of our boats.

Did you see the pictures of moorings in downtown Chicago?


Yup. Nice. I've been there many times, but not on a boat.
