I have read that the early Raymarine scanners were manufactured by JRC. If
this is the case these might be interchangeable. Also, I have been told by
a JRC rep that the display that came with my 2kw scanner will work with a
4kw scanner so its possible you do not need a scanner of the same kw rating
for your installation.
