What could possibly motivate someone to carry on and on and on with
repetitious, braggadocios taunts and meaningless drivel day after day,
week
after week, year after year?


My guess is that your wife finds it funny, even if she's annoying you
buy doing it. This is hardly the forum for such complaints, but perhaps
you should just leave her if you're not happy.
