How about putting a "Sculling Oar" in their hands, Like I did to you?
That will shut any one up.

DC; It's time YOU tell us why you are afraid to sail with your Husband?
That Balboa is a nice boat. A little small but should handle that Lake
pretty well (I took my US NAVY BOOT TRAINING on the Lake!) Give us some
more information and we can address the problem.

By the way, I've sailed most of my life but I learned more about boat
handling when I had an all Female crew.

If your not trolling and want to sail with hubby; give us a shot. It
will be your problem to weed out the "Smart Alec's" but you can get a
lot of answers here.
