I agree that the Triton is a good cruising boat but there are tons of
them still around in half way decent condition that would make a much
better investment than a *free* boat requiring a total do over.

If you just want a boat to work on, as opposed to a boat that is
actually usable, go have fun.

It is pretty well understood by those who have actually completed some
of these projects that the cost of the hull is only about 10 to 15% of
the total.
