Default Bravo III - is skeg supposed to have a bend?

The boat is otherwise flawless, and like i said the bend
looks like it''s supposed to be there. There's not even any paint
missing, which probably means the bend was there when the skeg was
repainted after the addition of the nose cone. Or at least repainted
after the PO hit whatever he hit...

For what it's worth, I have bent and chipped skegs before *8-( ... and have
had one straightened as good as new. I let the boat shop guy do it, but it
looked pretty simple and straight forward - easy does it, of course. As I
recall, he had me hold a heavy block of something (metal) against one side
and then he slowly and carefully pounded the other side using a small maul
and a thick board. Can't remember if he heated it or not (but since I don't
remember it, I'd guess not). I've personally never seen one that was bent
or twisted except for damage. My guess would be that it's probably not a
big deal unless it affects handling - maybe the PO decided to just
compensate with the little trim tab rather than risk further damage by
attempting to straighten it?
