Default Watch out Pittsburgh, The West Coast is Tough, Check our waves!

None of those prissy little Pennsylvania type waves up here in Seahawk
Land (where men are men, women are smiling, and sheep are
nervous)........

The Steelers are going to think they got whalloped by one of our
38-foot waves. :-)

COAST GUARD ENCOURAGES ALL MARINERS AND BEACHGOERS

TO USE CAUTION ALONG OREGON AND WASHINGTON COASTS

SEATTLE - The Coast Guard encourages all mariners and beachgoers along
Oregon and Washington coasts to use extreme caution Friday evening
through Saturday morning as the strongest cold front of the year moves
through the coastal areas.

The National Weather Service has issued storm and gale warnings for
Oregon and Washington coastal areas, and predict winds along the coasts
to reach up to 40 mph, with exposed areas seeing wind gusts up to 60
mph. Seas are predicted to reach as high as 38 feet onshore and
offshore.

Mariners and beachgoers are encouraged to use extreme caution before
heading to the coast this weekend and to check the National Weather
Service webpage for updated information at http://www.nws.noaa.gov/.
