Yes I know its a little antiquated but, hey, it works pretty good once you
figure out Sony's Sonic Stage software.

She says if you position them in the ear canal just right the sound is
fantastic and they really fit good thanks to the different sizes of ear

I can personally attest to the noise canceling function as any time she
has them on I have to walk up and touch her to get her attention if she
is facing away from me (like when she is studying for her calculus
class).

I bought myself a pair of UltraEars SX70 buds and bought my wife a set of
Sennheiser PX100 headphones. She prefers headphones to earbuds. The new
buds are to my liking, and fit comfortably in my ear canals. I don't
listen at high sound press levels.

PC Mag rated these particular Sennheisers their best buy of 2005 for iPOD
type headphones. They haven't arrived yet.
