Default Best Prices for Raymarine?

Bill,

$1598 is Dave's price including shipping. I went back to WMJ Marine to
verify the price I saw earlier because everyone else had a much higher
price. Sure enough the price I saw, or thought I saw, is now in the $1500+
range making BOATFIX.com much more competitive.

At around $1550 the A-65 is a pretty pricy gadget for a 6 1/2 inch screen
fishfinder/map/gps even with DGPS and Navionics Silver chart included.

Am now leaning more toward something like the Lowrance LCX-25C with a 7 inch
screen. Would have to spend another $100 for the map card which would make
that unit total about $1250. I just find it difficult to believe the
Raymarine A-65 is worth a 25% premium for DGPS/WAAS now that virtually all
new GPS are WAAS enabled.

Appreciate the various source suggestions.

Looking for best prices for a Raymarine A-65 GPS/Fishfnder.

Sp far, WMJ has the best price I've found at about $1265.

Sounds like a nice unit with DGPS & WAAS. Navionics charts are
included.

Wish I could find one to view but too new for the stores in this area
to have one.

Thanks,
Butch

I did a check on that unit at boatfix.com and although they offered it
for $10 less, you would have to pay shipping. However, by ordering on
line and out of state you would avoid sales tax, which can be close to
$100 in some states.

Oops. My bad......it looks like the chartplotter, not the gps/fishfinder
was $10 less.

Check www.brokenlegdave.com if outside California. Saves the tax.
