Ahhh, another great day!
It's 34 in NY today and time is running out for winter to do it's
thing. Spring seems closer than ever. In fact, we're just a month away
from getting the Beneteau 35s5 ready for her first summer of sailing on
the LIS!
Today I'm getting taking a couple of lady friends to see the boat.
They'll have to climb through the plastic...she's shrink wrapped as any
boat should be in this part of the world. After that I'm picking up a
late 90's Yamaha 8 HP outboard that someone is giving to me. I don't
know if it runs....annoying since I just got a newer motor and had to
pay (partly) for it. Now here comes a free one.
I love this part of the year...the season is within reach, anxious
sailors start returning to the yard, sizing up the prep.....talking
about everything they have planned, but lucky to get to half of it.
Thomas is sleeping to 6:30 am most days and we're well rested at last!
And then there's the boat herself....beautiful, sleek and fast. It's
going to be a GREAT SEASON!!!!
Whooo hoooo!!!!
