Boat of the Year!

For your purposes, your boat is clearly superior. Quit wishing,
despite Mr.
Crantz's fishing expedition, which, I must say, has netted him a rather
large Bubble guppy of late.
Few folks are as big a fan of the 99 as I am. It's the only reason I
responded. I didn't bit the bait...just swimming around it. BTW, the
99's cabin is pretty impressive for ths size of the boat. The photo's
don't do it justice.
We've been on C&C boats at the last few shows we attended, and frankly,
Bubbles, I'm not impressed with any of them. Their decks are laid out well,
ostensibly for racing or performance cruising, and their cockpits, while too
large for extended offshore work, are comfortable and everything is
accessible. But the interiors appear to be constructed of veneer over
masonite, poorly fit, poorly finished and cheap-looking. For the prices of
these boats, I'd expect something better. Your boat, for example, has an
interior that beats anything C&C has created in recent years. The 110 we
last inspected was so poorly built that the salesman apologized for it and
remarked that later production boats "should be a lot better."
Also disappointing were the newest Sabres. Their interiors have also
suffered a decline in finish quality. The cabin sole was positively ugly
(not as bad as a Bavaria, but close) on the last one we saw.
