Looking for anyone still living that served on the LCS(L)109 from October
1944 to 1946. The ship was commissioned in Boston October 1944. We
gathered at the Fargo building in Boston till the ship was commissioned

and
fully equipped to sail through the Panama Canal heading for the South
Pacific.

The chances that anybody who served on a Large Landing Craft Support vessel
during WWII and is still active as a translator would seem to be slim to say
the least.

Even so there be somebody around who can help you.

Are you by any chance a translator? I am sure your story is of interest and
I for one would enjoy reading it. Perhaps you have posted it in another
forum, please inform.

Regards
