Actually, the most important thing was *peace*. The infant Irish

did not make any efforts to demonstrate their independance.

The British landowners didn't understand that the Irish only wanted

peace.

Many of them(the British) sold their land after independance because

thought that their land would be confiscated. History shows that they

cheap.

To this day, the Irish have not tried to exact revenge.

Well, I'm here to tell you that in the US they are....we get
postcards soliciting for gun money from a concert we went to at one
