has paid the refs really well.
You know.... although I greatly enjoyed individual sports in
school.... I just don't get this my team vs. your team thing..... it
just totally eludes me.... I'm clueless.
However, team sports as depicted in "The Groove Tube" make perfect
sense and I would gladly buy a large flat screen, serve hors
d'oeuvres, and host the neighborhood to watch same.....
Whatcha think?
Except for this past week, I'm the same way. I started paying attention to
the Redskins when they played Tampa. Otherwise it's rare that I'll watch 15
minutes of a game, unless I've got a good book to read at the same time.
I tried to look up 'Groove Tube' and came up with:

Was that the movie you were referring to?
Last night we watched 'Cinderella Man'. Very enjoyable.
