we need him???

Congrats to the Washington Redskins for an excellent season.
I thought we were done when Shaun Alexander got pulled almost right
away, and we nearly fumbled ourselves right out of existence....
However, through a combination of a Seattle downpour, some skillful
play, and a lot of dumb luck the Seahawks managed to prevail and will
host the NFC championship game next week. Who'd a thunk it?
you beat the washington redskins by ten points.
the seahawks are going to get killed in the sb.
The (Seahawks - Shaun Alexander) beat the Redskins by 10 points.
I'm not the world biggest football fan, but even I know we'll have to
make it *to* the Superbowl to get beat there and there's still one more
game to win. What Seattle demonstrated today might be that the team is
a bit deeper than most people, myself included, suspected.
That 4th quarter was certainly exciting. Hand it to the Redskins- they
were still trying to find a way to win when they were down by 10 points
with only a couple of minutes left.
I'm sorry that our weather was so uncharacteristically pleasant for the
nationally televised game against the 'Skins. It's usually much, much
darker, drearier, and wetter around here- even in July. :-)
