Thunderbird 1.5 Released
Scott MacGregor writes: "The final release of Mozilla Thunderbird 1.5
is now available for download from getthunderbird.com. Users of RC1
should see the update soon. If you are using RC2, then you already
have 1.5 final."
"Thunderbird 1.5 introduces several new features including a software
update system, spell check as you type, built in phishing detector,
auto save as draft, and support for deleting attachments from email
messages. Message filtering has also been improved with new filter
actions for replying and forwarding. Saved search folders can now
search folders across multiple accounts."
"More details can be found in the Mozilla Thunderbird 1.5 Release
Notes, and the support forum staff is available for questions. "
"I wanted to thank everyone in the mozillaZine community who helped
test the alphas, the betas, and the release candidates that went into
this release. Thank you for trusting Thunderbird with your email
throughout the development and release cycle for 1.5. I'm looking
forward to working with all of you on 2.0 and beyond!"

Thanks,
I have found Thunderbird to be a vast improvement over OE.
I still use Outlook for my email, but Thunderbird is a great FREE
Newsgroup reader. I find it RSS News Reader to be lacking over some of
the others News Readers.
PS - The best part of Thunderbird vs OE is I don't have to listen to
everyone complain about me top posting.
