Kids, and you should always wear lifejackets in the dink. My dink is
more than 9' long and has far more freeboard than your inflatable. She
will take up to a 6 hp motor but I have no reason to use one. My dink
can be ready to use in much less time than it takes to inflate one (I
know, I have used inflatables) and be back on deck within a few minutes
she is so light. An inflatable is simply a poor unimaginative and
ill-thought choice.
