Sticky Float in Carburetor
If you do not use a fuel preservative such as "Store-N-Start" I recommend
you try it. I've been using it for decades and have never had a fuel
related problem. When I lived in colder climes I would use it for fall
layup. Now I use it anytime my plans for more than about a month don't
include using the boat.
I also recommend an in-line cannister type fuel filter to eliminate water
from the fuel entering your carburetor.

I just had an experience with the float in my carburetor sticking after
several months of storage. I was able to resolve the issue by hard tapping
on the outside of the carburetor but I'm wondering if there is any way to
prevent this. I am a "snowbird" and leave my boat in storage in Florida all
summer long.
Welcome any suggestions....
Thanks.
