No Scout... it is definitely *not* folklore. Strange stuff
happens
out there on the "big road" particularly when you get in or
around
the metropolitan areas.

Over the years... I've seen the good the bad and the ugly.
From
sexy exhibitionists... perverts... police pursuits... and
horrific
accidents.

With the advent of the citizen band radio (for mobile
communica-
tions) back in the late Sixties... and the visual vantage
point that
a trucker has while seated in a cabover or convential rig...
he or
she is pretty much on top of the situation (no pun intended) as
to
what is going on and/or coming along.

I believe Scotty who still gets out on the "big road" will
attest to
this highway phenomenon.
