People tend to buy things that suit their personalities.

One thing I've noticed is some will complain about their wives, some will
shoot their dogs, **** and moan about their car, but nobody ever says
anything really bad about their boats. Why?

We don't dare say anything bad about our boats lest Bubbles jump on it and
say, "See, XXXXX even admits his boat is a piece of crap."

Now over on rec.boats.cruising everyone ****es and moans about their
boats.
