Hi Harry:, from what I have heard and read on this unfortunate incident, I
surmise that the Sky Marshal did the correct thing in shooting the man who
said he had a bomb.

The job of the Sky Marshal is to protect the passengers and the aircraft.
If they told the man to stop and"get on the ground" and he didn't and then
he reached into his bag, then the marshal were doing the right thing to
shoot him dead. IMHO......
