I hear it is heading for a red state.
No, no, no. I'ts heading for those godless commies in China.
But where will you go for authentic (even if spoiled) Chinese food?
San Francisco!
Dislexics of the world, untie!
Ah, yes. Chinese food in SF. A treat.
A great thing about SF, of course, is that the righties hate it.
I don't hate San Francisco - I mean they invented Rice-A-Roni.
Great place to visit. Nothing beats a Saturday or Sunday morning at Pier
39.
We saw the Pacific fleet come in last time I was there. Quite a site to
see.
Next time you;re out there, check out the Dead Fish Restaurant overlooking
the Sacremento River.

You'll see a beautiful union-built bridge. Two of them, in fact. The newer
one is named after a union worker who helped build the first one.
I took the construction elevator up to the top of the new bridge towers
before it was completed, scariest ride of my life, for the view and to
take some photos for a magazine.
Food was pretty decent at the Dead Fish.
Was Vieira's before. Last time I was there for a buddies birthday, just
before they were to leave for Europe the next day. He could not handle the
excitement. Had Triple bypass the next morning. Friend has written a novel
with the Golden Gate Bridge featured predominately. So there son arranged a
tour of the bridge. The elevator to the top holds 2 and is a screened in
lift. Even the bottom is expanded metal. She said that was rather
disconcerting.
